Sony, full size CMOS high grade compact digital camera "RX1" equipped with low pass filter-less model "RX1R" in specification

As its brother model of compact digital camera <Cyber-shot> "DSC-RX1" 

which is equipped with 35mm full size Exmor CMOS sensor, 

Sony will release, July 5,  "DSC-RX1R"  with low-pass filter-less specification. 

By setting the low-pass filter-less,

 it conveys the light that enters from lens to image sensor 

in the same information as it enters, thereby improving the sense of resolution.

In the subject in which repetitive high frequency pattern appears such as artifact 

in which straight line runs generally in a lattice form, 

moire and false color easily occurs, 

therefore it is equipped with a low-pass filter in order to be compatible with this.

 It is common to RX1 in specifications other than a low pass filter, 

equipped with a full size "Exomor" CMOS sensor of about 2,430 effective megapixels.

Lens in Carl Zeiss Sonnar T lens of 35mm single focus,

LCD monitor 3.0-inch. It also supports full HD movie shooting at 60p/24p.
