It is positioned at high-rank model of "Q" series 

which achieved the reduction in size and weight, 

body about 102.0W × 58.0H × 33.5Dmm (except suspension ring, operating member), 

about 180g of body (body only).  

Lens mount, Pentax bayonet. Q mount.

Equipped with a 1/1.7 type back-illuminated

 CMOS sensor of maximum size in the series.

Approx.12.4 million effective pixels.

Also, with the image sensor cleaning function 

by ultrasonic vibration ,"DRII". 

Combining the high-speed image processing engine "Q ENGINE", 

to suppress the noise at each ISO sensitivity.

ISO sensitivity compliant with up to 12800. 

With growing in the sensor size, 

shooting angle is expanded than even the conventional in the same lens. 

When 02 lens attached, an angle of view is equivalent to 

23-69mm in 35mm format( 27.5-83mm, when Q/Q10 attached ). 

Movie recording function is compatible with full HD movie recording in 

H.264 format 1,920 × 1,080 / 30fps,

and newly added interval HD movie recording.
