As for the imaging element, 

adopted CMOS sensor of about 1,628 million effective pixels,

23.7mm × 15.7mm. 

Combining with the image processing engine equivalent 

to higher rank model "PRIMEM",

realized a high resolution and gradation depict power.

It features , adopted in such compact body( 590g only by body), 

dust and drip-proof structure 

and cold-proof performance of up to -10 degrees C, 

that is the first time as the entry model in the company. 

In addition, it is equipped with camera shake stabilization mechanism

"SR (Shake Reduction)" of its own. 

Adopted AF highly accurate sensor ,

"SAFOX IXi +". While adopting a cross-sensor in 9-points of center out of 11 focus points, 

it is equipped with  AF auxiliary light dedicated to facilitate focusing in low light.

Equipped with "Auto Picture mode" to set the most appropriate settings to match 

the subject and shooting scene 

and 19 kinds of "Scene mode" that can make optimal settings simply 

by selecting the icon.
