it improves resolution limit and contrast. 

Furthermore, it enhanced signal processing accuracy of the dynamic range control.

The record format is JPEG / RAW / MPO in still image,

and AVCHD/MP4 in animation.

It also supports 24p recording that can represent 
60p full HD shooting and unique motion 
and color taste like a movie in AVCHD format.
