Nikon, Digital interchangeable lens with a waterproof and shock resistant "Nikon 1 AW1"

Nikon releases the world's first digital interchangeable lens camera with 

waterproof and shock resistant, "Nikon 1 AW1".

DSLR camera, equipped with waterproof available 

for shooting for 60 minutes at 15m water depth (IPX8 equivalent), 

hockproof to 2m, and dust and cold-proof performance. 

Equipped with "Operation Action" function,

that allows information such as shooting mode to change 

by simply tilting the camera from side to side,in addition,

 measurement systems well supported, such as altimeter, 

depth meter, electronic compass, level and location information function. 

Image element is Nikon CX format "super high-speed  AF CMOS sensor",

14,250,000 effective pixels in optical low-pass filter-less specification. 

In addition to mounting the phase difference AF of 73 points 

and the contrast AF of 135 points to achieve high-speed AF, 

it enables to perform the continuous high speed shooting of about 

15 frames / sec by AF tracking and the continuous high speed shooting 

of about 60 frames / second with full resolution in AF fixed.
