Canon, mirror-less SLR "EOS M2" equipped with Wi-Fi with improved AF function

By adopting a "hybrid CMOS AF II", in a wide area of 80% of each vertical and horizontal side of the imaging screen, it corresponds to the combination use of the contrast AF and image sensing plane phase difference AF. In a wide ranging area than ever before, it has become possible to get focusing about 2.3 times faster compared to the previous model.

By equipping with video Servo AF function, it can be focusing smoothly against a moving subject in the movie shooting. By combining with the dedicated EF-M lens, it realizes quiet and smooth AF in servo AF which continues to focus a moving back and forth subject.

In imaging element, adopted APS-C size its own CMOS sensor of about 18 million effective pixels·, equipped with a DIGIC 5 in video engine.

It is provided with the image quality unique to a large sensor and the continuous shooting performance of about 4.6 frames / second maximum. ISO sensitivity, supported maximum 12800 (extended ISO25600)
